REASSESSING THE AVIATION DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY IN UKRAINE

This paper analyzes government policies aimed at supporting the aviation industry in Ukraine and compares them with similar policy instruments implemented in Brazil as both countries maintain full-cycle aircraft manufacturing capabilities and operate within comparable structural conditions in the global aviation sector. The research identifies key state support instruments, including industrial development programs, financial mechanisms, and innovation policies and highlights the need for Ukraine to prioritize the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) technologies, strengthen the domestic aerospace supplier ecosystem, and establish sustainable long-term funding mechanisms for research and development.
