In the context of globalization, digital transformation, and growing international competition, cultural diplomacy has become an important component of economic diplomacy. It contributes to strengthening a country’s international image, building trust, expanding international partnerships, and promoting economic interests through soft power. The purpose of the study is to examine the role of cultural diplomacy as an instrument of international economic cooperation and to identify its contribution to economic diplomacy, international competitiveness, and the development of sustainable international partnerships. The study shows that cultural diplomacy facilitates international trade, foreign direct investment, tourism, creative industries, and academic cooperation. It highlights the increasing importance of digital platforms, including Europeana, UNESCO initiatives, Google Arts & Culture, and Wikimedia projects, in expanding international cultural cooperation. Particular attention is given to Ukraine’s experience, demonstrating how digital cultural diplomacy strengthens the country’s international image, supports European integration, and creates favorable conditions for economic cooperation. Cultural diplomacy has evolved into a strategic instrument of international economic cooperation. By combining cultural, digital, and economic tools, it enhances national competitiveness, promotes international partnerships, and supports long-term economic development. For Ukraine, cultural diplomacy represents an important element of economic diplomacy and post-war recovery
