STRENGTHENING THE SYSTEM OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF MINING ENTERPRISES AND PROMOTING INTEGRATED BUSINESS PLANNING

Abstract

The article explores the specific features of improving an enterprise’s strategic management system through integrated business planning in a highly dynamic external environment. It is determined that modern challenges driven by technological transformations, geopolitical instability, disruptions in supply chains, and the need for the post-war recovery of Ukraine’s economy require a transition from fragmented planning to a comprehensive, integrated management system. It has been proven that integrated business planning ensures alignment of the enterprise’s strategic, financial, and operational goals within a single management cycle. It is established that the application of the scenario approach enables proactive assessment of potential threats, forecasting of alternative scenarios, and development of effective response mechanisms to crises. Attention is paid to the specific operating conditions of Ukrainian enterprises under martial law and the necessity of their strategic adaptation to post-war modernization. It is identified that the digitalization of integrated business planning and the implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies establish a new level of management analytics. This contributes to improved forecasting accuracy, optimized managerial decision-making, and the transition to data-driven management. During the study, it was established that the effectiveness of implementing integrated business planning largely depends on the human factor, the level of organizational culture, the quality of cross-functional cooperation, work arrangement, and leadership support for changes. It is concluded that integrated business planning is not merely a technological tool but a comprehensive management concept capable of ensuring the formation of smart, resilient, and competitive enterprises during Ukraine’s post-war development. Improving an enterprise’s strategic management system through the implementation of integrated business planning is a strategic imperative in modern conditions. IBP transforms planning from a bureaucratic process into a dynamic system for managing the future, ensuring a close connection between ambitious strategic goals and daily operational reality.
