FACTORS ENSURING THE EFFECTIVE DEVELOPMENT OF ENTERPRISES IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATIONS

Abstract

The article examines the factors ensuring the effective development of enterprises in the context of economic transformations. The relevance of the research is determined by dynamic changes in the economic environment manifested through the intensification of globalization processes, rapid technological development, the spread of digital technologies, modernization of production, and increasing competition in markets. These processes significantly influence the functioning of enterprises and create new requirements for the management of enterprise development, which necessitates further improvement of scientific approaches to studying the factors of effective enterprise development. The purpose of the article is to study and systematize the factors that ensure the effective development of enterprises under economic transformations, as well as to determine their role in the formation of an effective enterprise development management system. Scientific approaches to the interpretation of the concept of “enterprise development” are generalized, and enterprise development is defined as a purposeful process of qualitative and quantitative changes in the activities of an economic entity aimed at increasing operational efficiency, strengthening competitive positions, and ensuring long-term sustainability. The main factors ensuring effective enterprise development are systematized and proposed to be considered as an interconnected system of internal and external determinants. Internal factors include managerial, resource, organizational, and innovation-related factors that arise within the enterprise. External factors include economic, market, institutional, and technological factors that determine the conditions for enterprise functioning within the macroeconomic and market environment. It is substantiated that effective enterprise development is formed through the complex interaction of these factors. The influence of economic transformations on enterprise development is revealed, which is manifested in the need to modernize production processes, intensify innovation activity, introduce modern management technologies, and develop adaptive development strategies. A mechanism for ensuring effective enterprise development is proposed, integrating strategic management, innovation activity, resource support, and organizational management tools.
