STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS FOR IMPROVING AGRO-LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT UNDER MARTIAL LAW

Abstract

The article examines the current state and problems of the functioning of agrologistic systems of agricultural enterprises of Ukraine in the conditions of martial law. It is argued that the full-scale war has driven a significant transformation of traditional logistics chains, resulting in the destruction of and damage to transport and warehousing infrastructure, shifts in agricultural product flow routes, rising transport and storage costs, increased logistics risks, and a need to diversify supply and distribution channels. Key issues in agro-logistics management are identified, including the instability of transport routes, limited storage capacity, insufficient digitalization, shortages of resources and skilled personnel, and inadequate coordination among supply chain participants. Priority areas for improving agrologistics management are substantiated; these include the digitalization of logistics processes, the use of ERP, TMS, and WMS systems, GPS monitoring, IoT technologies, and data analytics, as well as the development of multimodal transport, agrologistics hubs, and modern warehouse infrastructure, alongside the implementation of systematic risk management. A model for improving the agrologistics management of an agricultural enterprise is proposed, integrating strategic, operational, and managerial components, digital tools, a performance monitoring system, and a continuous improvement mechanism. It is demonstrated that implementing the proposed measures will enhance the resilience of logistics systems, reduce costs, ensure supply continuity, boost the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises, and strengthen their export potential.
