Abstract

The rapid digitalization of the economy is transforming traditional models of trade and financial interaction, making e-commerce one of the key drivers of economic growth. The expansion of digital infrastructure, the widespread use of the Internet, and the growing popularity of mobile technologies have significantly accelerated the development of electronic commerce. Businesses are increasingly shifting their activities to online platforms, while consumers actively use digital channels to purchase goods and services. In these conditions, financial technologies (FinTech) play an important role by providing the technological and payment infrastructure necessary for the efficient functioning of e-commerce. FinTech solutions support online commerce through digital wallets, mobile banking, peer-to-peer (P2P) platforms, artificial intelligence (AI), Big Data analytics, and blockchain technologies. These tools simplify payment processes, increase the speed of financial transactions, and reduce operational costs for businesses. At the same time, the use of AI and Big Data allows companies to analyze consumer behavior more effectively, personalize services, detect fraud, and improve financial decision-making processes. The integration of digital financial services also contributes to expanding financial inclusion, enabling individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to access modern payment systems and participate more actively in digital markets. This stimulates entrepreneurial activity, facilitates entry into international markets, and strengthens the competitiveness of online platforms. As a result, businesses receive new opportunities for growth and expansion in the digital environment. At the same time, several challenges remain, including uneven access to digital infrastructure, regulatory uncertainty, and cybersecurity risks associated with the growing number of digital transactions. These factors require the development of effective  regulatory mechanisms, improved cybersecurity systems, and the creation of reliable financial ecosystems.
