PROBLEMS OF PRODUCT QUALITY AS THREATS TO THE FINANCIAL SECURITY AND COMPETITIVENESS OF ENTERPRISES

Abstract

The article examines contemporary product quality issues as threats to the financial security and competitiveness of enterprises, driven by global economic market shifts. The aim of the article is to investigate current product quality challenges in the context of their impact as threats to corporate financial security and competitiveness amid the crisis transformations of the competitive environment. The relevance criteria. The research employs: methods of logical analysis to identify industry barriers; graphical modeling to develop a crisis management concept and define strategic directions for overcoming quality issues to enhance competitiveness and solvency; and the generalization method to formulate research findings. The study explores product quality challenges within Ukraine’s leading economic sectors: agribusiness, pharmaceutical, and the manufacturing of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The author proposes strategic directions to address quality issues, including the integration of ISO standards, the modernization of fixed assets (considering sustainable development requirements), and the establishment of a national system for continuous professional development in quality management. The practical significance of the results lies in the development of an approach for applying practical tools to overcome product quality challenges within the current realities of the Ukrainian economic environment.
